Turophiliac Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 i got nvidia logo beneath albatron logo That's not the same thing. Your card is an nVidia card made by Albatron. EVGA and Sparkle are (supposedly) separate companies that both make nVidia cards. @ OP: That's really wierd, as far as I can tell, they're two distinct companies. EVGA is based in the USA with branches in Germany, the UK and Poland, whilst Sparkle is solely based in Taiwan.
slick2500 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Well maybe all the coolers are made in Taiwan and they put the wrong stickers on the cooler.
cirro Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 the sparkle logo wasnt even a sticker it was fashioned on how they do professional cd labels on cds. the irony is i had beautiful results with it, OC'ing easily past SSC clocks, and i goto tigerdirect and the sparkle core 216 is IDENTICAL to mine. :\ i wonder if evga is buying other companies LQ and labeling them EVGA and selling them for more
