Phase Cooled Build

Hey guys. Im putting together a new build.

4850x2 = ORDERED

E2200 2.4Ghz = ORDERED

Asus Maximus Formula= Had on hand

Antec 300 = Had on hand

Phase Unit= Had on hand

PSU=Had on hand

I decided to go with the E2200 instead of the E5200 because the E5200 highly tends to max out at 4.0Ghz. Seeing how this is going to be a phase build, I will be able to pump the volts way up there. Im looking to get a 4.5 Ghz 24/7 oc, and hit 5-6Ghz on suicide runs. I went with the 4850x2 because its 4870x2 performance(when overclocked) but for like 200 bucks less. Plus I wanted to try a new card :P.

Pics coming soon

Let me know how the 4850x2 fits in the 300 case?

Will do

Will do

but why even a e5200, isn't phase cooling expensive, why those potentially a 5200, and definitely an e2200. Why not go e8xxx? even if the e2200 get's high clocks it's older so it's raw clock still might beat a newer decently clocked dual.
