No video problem...

I've noticed that whenever I put my 780i into another case or anything, it gets really pissed off at me and keeps giving instant FF and no video. Sometimes pulling the cmos battery works, other times it doesn't. I had to rma it 2 times to get it to work with my 1st case, now I bought an antec 900 and put it in there and it is pissed off again. What the hell is wrong with this board? How can I fix it?

Stop moving it?

Check the standoffs in your case and make sure you only have 9 ...and in the right places ...and screwed in all the way.

Don't put it on the anti-static bag when building/moving it.

Exactly which motherboard do you have? Link it to me on Newegg so I can zoom in. The 780i boards I see have the standard 9 ATX holes.

You can also try a bares bones build inside the case to see if that works:

- Motherboard

- CPU

- Memory

- Power Supply

- Video Card

- Power button connector from case (forget the rest)

You have a different video card you can try? ...would be nice if you didn't have to rob one from your other rigs, but if you have to in order to troubleshoot than I guess you have to.

Ive already tried barebones and borrowing the ati card and it worked. I also put the gts in the p35 ati rig and it also worked. Im certain it is my motherboard having issues. Ill call evga again and see what they say.
