I have one exactily like it, I did at one point screw a 40mm fan onto the HS to get some air on it, the problem was the card OCed like crap no matter what. The 9000 isn't that great of an overclocker, if that was what you are looking to do, I had no such luck and I doubt it would be much different in your case. The stock passive cooling did just fine and no number of fans was going to make a noticable difference. Sry :(

:withstupid: Yeah, they aren't the best overclockers. However, there is an easy way to get the heatsink off. (used this trick for my old radeon 7500) Lay the card on a flat surface. Slide a credit card (or something else of the like...drivers license, whatever) under the edge of the heatsink. Put a flat-head screwdriver (preferably with a fairly large head) flat between the credit card and the heatsink. Now TWIST the screwdriver to one side and the heatsink should pop right off. Don't PRY up and down, twist it. It works like a charm. :)

And you're right the stock cooler is epoxied onto it if you decide to take it off follow eva unit's 0 post ;)
