bioshock on vista 64 bit not working

hi all i cant seem to get bioshock to work on my laptop i have tried evrything to get it to work it just crashes at the spalsh screen the error dump is below

any ideas whats going on?

nVidia beat to it, but what he said. You might also try disabling some of your HID devices. Read somewhere that a guy couldnt run it either and did that and ran just fine afterwards

the system specs are:

intel core 2 t5200 @1.6 ghz

1gb ram

512 graphics memory

1GB of ram and Vista x64 was a VERY bad idea, you're using more address space and cutting the amount of usable ram compared to a 32bit OS.

 

Also "512 graphics memory" 512 of what...shared system memory? an Hybrid? What actual GPU? Sure my 8800M GTS has 512MB and does nicely, but I've never seen anythign of that range in a laptop that uses parts like a t5200 and just 1GB of ram...

 

I think now would be a good time for a GPUz screenshot :)

Update Bioshock for starters. I didn't have any problems (aside from pretty bad choppiness and stupidly long load times) when running it on my HTPC when it only had a gig of RAM and Vista 64.
