Verran Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Didn't like The Witcher? To each his own I guess. I went and read the book after I played the game since I liked it so much. I turned a few people onto it and they all enjoyed it. It came highly recommended, but I just couldn't get into it. The dude seriously held his sword like a baseball player getting ready to swing for the fences. It looked downright silly when he went into combat mode. Beyond that, the story in the beginning just wasn't very interesting for me. I know plenty of people loved it, but it just didn't do it for me. Andrewr05 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I find Baldurs Gate to be almost too story based or too involved... It just didn't work for me, I felt like literally every single action I had to do involved 2 or 3 clicks of the mouse and 3 menus and 9 choices and blah blah blah... JUs' aint me cupa tea, oight!? battery Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 that sounds more like the BG2 than the BG. the original involved a lot of exploring. the 2nd one involved a lot of dialogue. if you're a fan of DnD or of rpg's in general, i'd say these games should be played through at least once. cjloki Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Mass Effect? I've not played it on PC, but loved the game on the 360. Some others would be Fate, Fable, and Titan Quest. +1 for mass effect and also there's fallout 3 B:)
