shadow771 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) I'm very sure if I set the RAM clock to 1066MHz with all 8 GBs in Vista gives me a BSOD in less than 15 seconds from logon. The BSOD does not give a specific error code and doesn't list a file or anything. I've also read in ASUS's forums about the MB that no one can get it to run 8 GBs at 1066. Edit: I've even tried manually setting all the timings for the RAM. It still BSODs Edited February 24, 2009 by shadow771
ebarone Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 BSODs are usually a voltage issue... can you give either the memory, the NB, or anything else a little more juice?
shadow771 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I pushed the RAM voltage to 2.5v and it still BSODs

shadow771 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I haven't taken either of those settings of auto. I've been trying to find info on what settings are default and what is the max for them.
