bigred Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 problem is the memory controller. some mx440s used a 64 bit ddr memroy, while the mx420s were all 128 bit sdr controller. you'd have to find a bios for one of those wacky mx440s with a 128 bit sdr controller (visiontek, I'm looking at you for this one)

bigred Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 pny's mx440 used ddr so it won't work. you'd have to use a vt or similar bios.
Eva_Unit_0 Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 The whole geforce4 mx line was a mess... Your best bet is to just overclock the heck out of it.
Neural Interface Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Yeah I know what your saying Eva but the whole point is so that it just runs overclocked by defualt but anyway, I think I saw a sparkle BIOS, do u think that this will Work Bigred? or the other one? sparkle WHITEBUNNY
