Bizzlenitch Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Just installed Vista Ultimate x64 and I'm struggling to find a compatible sound driver for my IP35 Pro's onboard sound or my MAudio Revolution 5.1 sound card. Anyone out there with an IP35 Pro and Vista that can help a fellow out? Many thanks.
Coors Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Hmm with my IP35 vanilla Vista loaded up the driver for it automatically. I think they are both the same onboard audio. Heres the Abit driver page for the IP35 Pro. The audio driver is on the bottom. http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/download/do...KET_TYPE=LGA775
Kingfisher Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Windows update should download and install your device drivers for you for the most part.
Bizzlenitch Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Hrm... I'll try re-downloading them from Abit. It's strange, I'm using the 6-port onboard audio connections on the back of the motherboard and when I plug one (of my two audio jacks) into the port labeled "Line Out" in the IP35 Pro literature I get sound. However, should I plug one of them into the "Center/Subwoofer" jack and the other into the "Left Surround/Right Surround" jack I get absolutely zero sound... any thoughts?
