MINDSCI Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 My Friend got locked out of her laptop. Her 6 year old daughter changed the password, and not surprisingly, she can't remember it. Friend has lost OS disc; computer was given to her as a gift. Can you use: "control userpasswords2" and/or "NUSRMGR.CPL" to reset it in XP- Home Basic or Home Premium? Do you all know any other tricks for getting the password reset? Thanks for any Help!!!

krazypoloc Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) I have Vista Ultimate Boot disc: What's the procedure? Thanks! Just use this Linux password hack CD-Boot to it and you can reset your password and it will not touch any files or folders other than reseting the password in the registry. All you have to do is burn the ISO and boot from it. Edited February 12, 2009 by krazypoloc
