Fear2

I've got to tell ya....after playing the full version I more or less agree with Eurogamer's 5 out 10. FEAR2 is definitely not what FEAR was....Sad to say but its dumbed down and well "uninspired"...The AI that was so great in FEAR got stupid in this game...Use of gore is completely over the top and just done for the juvenile console crowd, it does not do a thing for the game but make it seem out of ideas for a decent scare...in fact the pacing and atmosphere of FEAR are all about gone.....to top it off the graphics look dated and the voice acting is barely adequate.....All that is left is a cheap imitation of the first FEAR that doesn't much work.

I am dissapointed

I was going to pick it up. IGN and Gamespot thought a little better of it. I think 8.0 and 7.0. They didn't say anything bad enough to warrant not playing it. I might need a few more opinions.

Crap, I was really looking forward to this game because of Fear 1. I thought the demo was cool. But I think I'll wait like incrysis and get more opinions before I spend my precious few dollars on this game.

What I said in the OP still stands.....but the game has gotten a little better as I've progressed through, I am going to finish it. As a FPS FEAR2 is fun enough, just don't go into thinking you're in for an improved experience(or even the same) over FEAR....this one has bad consolitis

lol

I like that a lot. but seriously, I can't stand how many PC games are all ported now. It looses all uniqueness.

On a broad level I see PS3 and 360 as essentially the same thing because majority of the games are available on both.
