Lackadaisical Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Try using the HP USB format tool. http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=
mwillman Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 You will need to repartition the drive. formating doesnt repartition. I havent done it on a windows box in a while, I tend to use partitioning software like Partition Magic. I beleive there is a command window option but I cant remember it off the top of my head. Anyways Im sure theres plenty of documentation on the internet.
Lackadaisical Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Actually the tool I recommended should work. I just tested it with a spare flash drive. I created 2 partitions on it, then I ran the format tool. After formatting the drive with the HP format tool its back to 1 partition. Kuronin Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 The link in my signature should explain how to format the drive. Click bootable USB drive in my sig.
