psycho_terror Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 are you getting unstable machine or something? mine runs 24/7 no interruptions at all! is it overclocked? definitely not unstable, in fact i'm currently running stock as i haven't changed back after my forum warz stock run. i think it may be something to do with my sapphire 4870, which seems to switch between low and high clock mode for no reason. i'm aware there is some sort of fix for this but i haven't done it as i think it requires a bios flash. EDIT: after a brief search i found that the bios fix didn't work anyway and using rivatuner to overclock would effectively disable powerplay. guess i'll be folding a lot more now... DLS2008 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I've found that changing the clock speeds on my 4870 while folding is running messes up the WU some how. If you want to make clock changes, quit folding, make them, then restart. Also, my 4870 seems to not like the 574x series of WUs.
