As soon as the sun comes up I'll post a pic of my '91 Ford Escort LX...wait for it....lol.....Station wagon thingus. It's pretty quick for it being a complete piece of junk I suppose hahaha. The odometer(I think thats what it's called oO) on it is getting ready to make its second complete cycle, giving it a total amount of 200k miles driven... IVIYTH0S Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) That's my old car (Smashed up 1993 Jeep Cherokee), and the new one (1997 Saturn SL2) in front. I need to do some performance mods to it (though already it likes to whip little foreign cars' butts and still brings home 28mpg average). I think i have to swap out the the O2 sensor because these cars should be like 30+ average but for a start it's a helluva lot better than the cherokee on gas lol keep in mind that my driving is probably 60% city since I work fri-sun as delivery boy for dominos and during the week I run short highway drives to school 15 miles each way. that's when I first got it like 7000 miles ago I'll post up a new pic tomorrow or something. All that's changed is I upgraded to alloy rims (80 bucks for rims and tires can't be beat!), and the hood is slightly dented from hitting a salt spreading truck lol. (had to get that rib in there, I would rather be in an ls1, but I have too much money in the stang at the moment, and I like it too.)That's what happens when you throw millions at making something sound good. And yes, I'm jealous. It's incredibly hard to make an LSx sound good and it takes no effort at all to make any Mustang sound like a monster. It looks a lot like my cousins cobalst ss supercharged. That is a great car to throw around and is the fasteset front wheel drive 4 cylinder car i have ever driven or ridden in. That's because it's the same car. Tell him to watch his oil consumption, the LS6 can have some pretty serious blow-by that you need to keep track of. That, and don't let him wreck it.
