First post eh? Well here are mine in all their glory.

post-63946-1232951722_thumb.png *Fixed to reflect changes* :P

I used GIMP to create them and incorporated parts of the logo in the design while adhering to the color guidelines. Hope .gifs are all right because .jpgs were not saving the colors right (and I still don't know why). Best of luck to everyone else who is competing.

EDIT: Just remembered that I was supposed to give approximate time to make. I'd say 4-5 hours roughly, not including my jpeg fiasco. :D

EDIT #2: A revision coming in the form of "Lead" being changed to "Senior" :smack:

Here is submission #2 which was also done in GIMP, but only took about 1.5 hours this time.

post-63946-1233115944_thumb.png

I went for a 300x30px size this time since everybody has been griping about 400x40 being to big. I like a decent size user bar myself but wtvr...

Edit: i see my gifs arent working. ill make a screen shot of them in a group instead

Edit: Working again. It seems that i need to fix the Delay time on the senior userbars.

Update: Fixed the time delay on them. should be all better now. :)

Hey hey!

Lost a lot of quality getting them to under 20kb each. :(

Tempted to make them smaller so I don't have to compress them so much. (doesn't seem to make much difference actually..)

I used Photoshop and grabbed a stock photo from http://www.freephotosbank.com/

Took me about 2 hours in total including fiddling with the size at the end. Haven't used Photoshop in a fair while, but that was fun.

Here are some I created... Graphics aren't my strong point, so I went the simple route. :D

If anyone can take these and make 'em better, then have at it. I'd rather OCC have cool member bars than win a prize. :D The master file (GIMP *.xcf) can be downloaded here (zip).

The font used for the groups is "Visitor". Searching Google, it looks like that is the standard (or most used) member bar font.

A freind of mine wanted to enter this contest, but did not want to become a member. So I'm submitting his for him.

He spent 2 and a half hours making these using Photoshop Elements 6
