InvaderTrax Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Well, if it's a P4, I'd say go for it. If it's an AMD, you might want to go with just a light OC until your new HS gets here
Paranoid Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 You can probably overclock it with the factory heatsink, but if the temperatures start to rise quite high (55C+), turn it back.
Xtreme21 Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 i wouldnt use the factory heatsink even if i didnt OC, my two cents...
Will Smith Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 (edited) its all depends on what proc u have. if its an "A" series intel I would say go right ahead and o/c keep an eye on the temps. "B" series keep an eye out even more. "C" series light o/c but watch the temps. Now if it is an AMD don't. Wait for the heatsink. kobalt Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 I'd say get MBM and check your temps <_<
Xtreme21 Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 Ooo.. if its Intel their factory heatsinks are pretty good, at least on the "c" series P4's..
