oggie Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Hi mate, welcome to the forum :thumbs-up: That rig is looking good, what you gonna be using it for ??
damian Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I'm not a big fan of Cooler Master Power Supplies. Look into the Corsair TX750W or TX850W unit.
oggie Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Gotta agree with Damien, also if you gonna be using it mainly for gaming i would go for C2D
mattwalter85 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 yeah i agree with oggie, c2d's are plenty for gaming and usually overclock higher then quads anyway. i took my old e8400 to 4.4Ghz 24/7 use and i have a E8500 now but waiting on the rest of my water cooling stuff before i start overclocking it. i've got it at 3.8 right now on the intel h/s/f
Apsody243 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Unfortunately the place where I'm buying doesn't have that brand of PSU "http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf" this lists all the parts they have for sale so out of the PSU's what would be recommended ? Krieg1337 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 For the PSU I would suggest the PC Power and Cooling 750.
