curt234 Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) Does the fan draw air in or blow air out on the top of 120mm fan power supply? Some people say the top is an intake and some say exhaust? I don't want hot air blowing in the case. Was thinking about using this power supply power supply With this case case I like the style of this one better case 2 Edited December 21, 2008 by curt234
slugbug Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) Power supplies usually suck warm air in through the fan and blow it out the back of the case. Edited December 21, 2008 by slugbug
paulktreg Posted December 21, 2008 All ATX power supplies now suck air into the fan and blow the warm air out the back grill. Wasn't always this way. The first ATX power supplies actually sucked air in the back grill and out into the enclosure to help cool the processor. Cheers Paul
