wow didnt know people are on this site late at night but i want to stick with nvidia

card didnt have much luck with my ati 7500 card umm...would the motherborad make a different?

No, nvidia will work on that motherboard. SLI will not work on Intel chipsets except for the new X58. You only have one PCIE slot anyway so you cant even put in 2 cards...

so if i want to go with nvidia sli then i should chose a different

motherborad if so can u help me pick it out please?

p.s. does the memory is ok with oc it alittle?

My opinion on nvidia sli motherboards is stay away from them, I have no experience with them other than reading all the post of people complaining about them. Someone else will have to help you there unless you get an X58 MB which will work with 3 way sli or ati crossfire. There expensive though around $300...

ya I had nightmares with both my 680 and 780i's. I still think give ati another change because if you are willing to spend that much you could get a 4850 that'll wipe the floor with that 9800gt

graphcard ok mabey i'll give it ati one more time so tell me what u think?

Thats the one I was gonna suggest but I couldnt get on newegg earlier for some reason. Also gigabyte makes the same board with two PCI-e slots for 15$ more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128358

In case you decide to crossfire in the future

This set up will work ok but if I may suggest the E8500 is not optimized to run on the P45 chip set. Please see:

You would do better to get a Q9400 or Q9450. It is optimized to run on that chipset. Please be certain that what you have will run together well. But the CPU's all optimized to run on specific chip sets with the exception of the Q6700 which does not have a specific chip set associated with it in the spec's. Please note that everybody seems to be out of Q9450's right now. You can pick up a Q9550 at http://www.microcenter.com/ for around $300.

Also, I found the stock coolers to be inadequate. You might consider the cooler and case in the expense. Also, the P45 chip set works better with the ATI series. Contrary to popular oppinion NVIDIA will work but I think you would be happier with an 4870 GPU with that motherboard.
