Scott P Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I'm making the wife a home office and I need a KVM switch. There will be a regular PC for her personal use. She will also have a docking station for her little Dell Latitude. I'd like to be able to use the keyboard, mouse and monitor on both computers. I'll probably get a USB keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know of a good KVM that would work in this situation?
viperk1 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 How much are you looking to spend? You can get various types. I get all my KVM needs from http://www.startech.com . You should check out that site. Huge corporate discount is one of my decision factors though
cheetor1981 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I just bought a Rosewill brand one for $14.99 on NewEgg. It was a ShellShocker so I got it cheaper than normal a week ago. It hooks up to only 2 computers but that was all I needed. Works great for the short amount of time I've had it.
Angry_Games Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 look for the D-Link or Zonenet KVM's at Newegg. I've used them for years and they are sub-$50.
