viperk1 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 One of my best practices is to go into bios and disable everything (hardware-wise) that I am not using. Ensures the fastest possible bootup
QuantumX Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 This morning I went through my BIOS again. I think I've found where to fix your problem Go to the "Advanced" tab. From there you select " Onboard Device Configuration" Here you can Enable/Disable the Marvell IDE (DriveXpert) function, as well as Marvell LAN1 & LAN2, and Firewire. QuantumX that fixed it, my brothers PC boots to Windows desktop 7 second sooner because of that fix! Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread, lets spread this fix around to others.
