Waco Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 They make so little difference it really doesn't matter which you choose.
Crazy_Nate Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 If you're trying to drastically improve your cooling performance (lower your temperatures sufficiently), looking at changing out your TIM is the wrong place to start... However, if your waterblock isn't level, or you have too much TIM, it simply won't perform as well as it should. The instructions on the arctic silver website are very good. abid Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 ok now the temp for idle is 46 44 42 42 at minimum and when i run the OCCT it jumps to 50 57 then at 96% it cam to 60 until 65 then 5 mins more it said CPU too hot!
dr_bowtie Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 better cooling will come more from a better cooler than it would by switching TIM... I prefer Zalman grease over all of them...
