BKen Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I'm looking around for speakers in the range of $150. Currently looking at the Logitec G51s http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16836121012 (would buy from tigerdirect because of $2 shipping deal) Gonna be using these with my laptop (not 5.1 capable), but the comp I'll be building ASAP 2009 will be using these fully, so I would far rather have 5.1. Thanks, BKen

tanka12345 Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I think the G51 is the way to go for your price range.

n4mr3h Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Logitech G51 is a good 5.1 system
The Smith Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Just got the G51s. So far they are awesome. But I only tried the speakers in stereo using my wind though... I'm anxious to receive the 7.1 mobo that will power them. Oh and the sub is simply amazing.
lepel Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I have the G51 as well and so far they have been awesome. Coming from a cheapo 2.1 speaker system was really a huge difference for me. I can recommend that G51.
Acedog Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 (edited) I have the Logitech Z-2300, they maybe just a 2.1 speaker system but they sounds like a 5.1 system, they are amazing. Edited December 13, 2008 by Acedog
Pilliy Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I've had experience with the both of them, but it depends on what you want. I personally use the Z-2300s on my computer but I use them for music and TV shows. If I'm watching a movie or playing games I use my headset for that. If you wish to watch a lot of movies/TV shows and play loads of games then the G-51s are more up your alley. But if you're like me and have a nice headset, go for the Z-2300s or even buy the Z-2300s and buy a new headset.
