devit Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 intel...but it will be nice if they had prices more affordable
IVIYTH0S Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 i wish I could have a neutral vote, even though all I've ever had was intel (and know about) I still have always wanted to get into AMD, it just so happens every time I was about to buy a new processor. Intel was on top at that time. of course my second computer was a Pres"hott" but I was young and dumb. lol live and learn 77 degrees later. I think it still runs to this day! mesh Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 (edited) I don't favor either, price/performance ratio is more useful to me. Â Though of all my systems my intel have been a bit more stable than amd, except for my recent atom desktop but that's because of lousy x64 drivers. tanka12345 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I prefer AMD though I've got an Intel Pentium 4 right now. Intel does provide the best performance right now, but I'm sure it'll all change when the Phenom II's are set free.
abid Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 intel to go!
Mirkin Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I stick with AMD, if it were just about performance, it would be Intel, but price also enters into it.
xly15 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I can't vote either way. I will go for the processor that offers the best price/performance at the time. Like if the phenom II's are any good I will get one of them. The core i7 are just priced too high for me.
