Kill Zone 2

I drool everytime I see the name Killzone 2. The gameplay movement speed looks kinda slow though, like CoD 4. But I guess you get used to it after time. The graphics are amazing, but everything always looks so dark when they resize the resolution to fit an embeded player (not in this HD video thou, but the smaller resolutions). This is the FPS game to get if you own a PS3. I'm buying this first day.

Still haven't picked up LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, and Valkyria Chronicles yet. Too many games, so little money.

IGN's video review for those too lazy to read such as myself. I think I'm gonna go preorder this tomorrow and get in the preorder beta starting Feb 2nd.

Played it yesterday and omg I love it. Only thing I don't like is the made the characters's movement slow down to their weight. So when you turn it's a little slow, not sure if upping the senti will change that or not.

The game has full clan support and friends support. A server browser. 32 players. Amazing maps that are multi leveled. So its not a linear flat maps like any other FPS game. The multiplayer matches are split up into 5 modes. Meaning in one match it will switch on the fly to 5 different game modes without loading. In that one match it will go from Search and Retrieve (kinda like CTF), Search and Destroy, Capture and Hold, Assassination, and Body Count (TDM). You can make your own squads and mic support. The online is split into ranks and classes Rifleman, Engineer, Medic, Scout, Assault, Tacticain, Saboteur. I think you can only play Rifleman at the start until you rank up and unlock the others.

All in all this game is a must buy for any FPS lover. One of the best FPS games that recently came out.

I played it last night at my friend's house (I don't own a ps3), and honestly it's just a totally generic shooter. The controls have me feeling like I'm trudging through warm peanut butter. The weapons are pretty uninspired, and they are all extremely generic in function. While the game is fun, I'm glad I didn't have to buy it. I would've been pretty disappointed.

It makes me thankful I play shooters on the PC! :)
