What Size Monitor?

Ok I've had my 19" 16:10 samsung for over a year now and I wanna go bigger! I was just wondering if I should go with the 22" or 24" and which would be best for gaming without hindering performance. The specs for my system are in my sig and I have another 30 days to upgrade my 9800gtx for a gtx 260, which is gonna happen. I would like to stay around $300 if possible and I will be selling this samsung.

You wont' see any difference from going from 22" to 24" so I suggest going for a 24. Plus you normally get full HD with the resolution that comes on a 24". I love mine.

The bigger the better ;)

First, exclude 30", for they are $1k & +. This makes no sense.

So I would also go for a 24". Some can be had for around 300$ when getting good deals. I bought an Acer for $338 tx included, and that is in canadian dollars.

There are also a few 25.5 and 28" monitors, but they have the same resolution as a 24", and for sure they are more expensive.

Good luck :)

good monitors. i have an old KDS Rad-5 i got on a BF sale back in 2001 and its been used daily as a main monitor until 2005, its still used almost every day on one of my other systems and looks the same now as it did 7 years ago, not one dead pixel.
