r3d c0m3t Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) If you're going to spend $200+ on a motherboard, spend such an amount on this... DFI LanParty UT P45-T2RS - $204.99 Forgo the ASUS crap and opt for this, or you could go for Gigabyte, or you could even opt for this... BIOSTAR TPower I45 - $159.99 Edited November 26, 2008 by r3d c0m3t

BIOSTAR TPower I45 - $159.99 These Asus boards are really good, they are definitely not crap. I am a noob overclocker, and my brother has DFI boards, very hard to overclock if you are a noob. But the Biostar looks nice. If I would get that Biostar I would have some more money and I could get a bigger/better Hard drive, got any suggestions? r3d c0m3t Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Xigmatek HDT-S1283 Rifle Cooler - One of the best HSF's around. Just so you don't think I flame ASUS, I've had experiences with their boards and three in particular have died on me, all within the same time period as well...which is truly odd. In any case, you know the old saying: Three strikes and you're out. Just wanted to clear up why I referred to it as crap. And don't worry about the Asus thing, Ive heard Asus boards are good, but only for a year then they usually break, odd isn't it? Edit: Never mind about the fan, found the version that includes the fan That Biostar=Overclocking King! I hope it will work nicely with my 2gb 667 3-3-3-8 TeamXtreeme and E6750 Edited November 26, 2008 by Darkfuneral1337
