ir_cow Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 i'm building a gpu folding rig (just bought stuff of of skynet member) the specs are: 1 3200 AMD64 + MB 60watts? 2x 256 ddr 10watts? 2x 9600gso 46watts each (92 total) 1x hdd (5watts) 1x dvd drive (5watts) 1x wireless card (5watts?) total: 177 watts. is that is the right range? so assuming that is i just found great deals in newegg OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W $25 after rebate or Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W $20 after rebate the gpus are going to fold 24/7 so i need something that can handle it. what do you guys think? these deals end SOON so please give me some advice!
