kingdingeling Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..... *calms self down* Bloody Coolermaster, the 8-pin EPS of the OCZ EvoStream 600W would not even reach the plug on the mainboard if I had the possibility to just run it straight across the mainboard! I'm about to set fire to the whole $"
Andrewr05 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 (edited) LOL That sucks dude, what is it like 3 inches too short? That always pisses me off when things don't reach, you're like: "Awesome! its gonna go right in *snag*, OH SON OF A ^%*^% YOU'RE KIDDING ME its only 2 $@%^ing inches away!!!" The Smith Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I got this problem when I reviewed the HAF-932. I finally used a Molex to P4 converter, for the Molex wires are longer. I you can't find any extension/adapter, well, just cut off that plug and make it longer yourself! (If you dare)

Queenz Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I've had this same problem with my OCz StealthxStream Power supply. The two PCI express connectors wouldn't reach my video card. I had to buy two PCI express extension cables.
kingdingeling Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 That'll teach you for getting a Coolermaster case I for one will be going oldschool on my next case purchase, and get a phat steel cheiftec rackmount or something I had one of them before.... my whole rig weighed in at 30.2kgs... need I say more? Found an extension cord online, but will hit the local stores tomorrow first... I HATE these situations. And not, it's not 3 inches, it's more like 6 inches with the video cards installed! hardnrg Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 to be fair Andy, you bought a case with the PSU in a non-standard position... so it's your own damn fault noob!
Guest wump Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I have a coolermaster MicroATX case and absolutely love it. Well designed, extra spacious, ridiculous air flow thanks to a well placed 120mm fan, and it takes a full size ATX PSU. Excellent case for a budget rig. I bought a case with the PSU in an unusual position and I bought an old-school PSU cause it was cheaper! Two faults...
EaGle1337 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 My Haf works fine with my corsair psu... had troubles with the psu and the 590 :/ They need standard cable lengths >_<
ARandomOWL Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 King, If the cable is long enough to reach without the GFX, won't it fit under the GFX near the bracket where the DVI cnnectors are? I had the same problem, I tried this but the cable was just too tight. Edit: This will explain it better: All GFX I've seen have this gap.
