Warby35 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Hi What would cause no sound on a burned DVD? Some disks are perfect but some have no sound and a few stick. I use both Win Avi and Convert X to DVD and Nero to burn but with the same problem. Cheap disks? or Is the drive on its way out (its only 18 months old) writemaster lightscribe, I have tried different speeds also. Any ideas? Cheers, Warby P,S. Is it really worth spending the extra cash on disks, I know they probably would be better quality but how better?
hardnrg Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 if it's just the audio, I'm almost 100% certain it's a problem with the transcode process rather than a burning problem is it just some material, or is it all the stuff you are converting? I assume you are converting video with sound ?

I assume you are converting video with sound ? Just some, I have just done one with convert x to dvd and nero, it has sound but then sticks at chapter 17. Audio burning seems to be fine? EDIT: Any burning tips????? Edited November 17, 2008 by Warby35
