MJCRO Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 $20 - Flowers for my girlfriend. $15 - Dorm food. $15 - Lots and lots of aluminum foil. My roommate is out for the weekend. How you liking the college life so far dude?
Onion Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 How you liking the college life so far dude? Its pretty great, except the fact I'm stuck in school with no transportation and I have to walk to my classes which are about a mile away from my dorms. Roommate is cool, food is good, weather is better than Miami (marginally lol), and I'm closer to my girlfriend. Not any complaints, really. I just wish I could have had an apartment instead of dorms. I can't really have my girlfriend over with my roommate here lol.

Onion Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Word up dude. I had to deal with the same ish first year of school too. Now I just commute to school. Kind of glad I live on campus though, had I wrecked my car and lived off campus, I'd have no way to get to class. Can't wait to commute next year, I'm gonna be saving heaps of money. Onion Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Haven't paid it yet, but I spoke to the insurance company. I'm entitled to a rental similar to my car. I'm gonna get a new V6 convertible mustang. I'm also looking at replacement cars. I'm debating going for a terminator cobra or a newer 5.0 and blow that (already has forged internals, so not much work to install a blower). Either way, woo, faster car. Oh, and Waco, the Cobra has IRS, I'll actually be able to corner.
Waco Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 It only had IRS for one year and they're still fat pigs.

They're fat pigs with a blown 4.6 that revs to 7k. Watch out on that track.
Waco Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 BTW for our challenge I was thinking Laguna Seca not Sebring being in Florida. Yes...I am tarded. A 2009 GT and my Miata were within a second or two on Sebring after 3 laps in Forza BTW.

Should be a fun race. 2004 Cobra is a lot faster than a 2009 GT though. 2009 GT is the same engine, less power, and a lot more weight. And it still has the log axle. I was comparing it with your "old" car and gave you the benefit of the doubt that your car would be nearly as fast as a newer GT. Regardless, it'll all come down to the track. High speed tracks? I'm probably screwed. Tracks that need good handling? You're in trouble. Anyway - bought the Basement Collection today too.

My old car might be faster than the newer 3V 4.6 on the '09, actually. I've got less weight, and almost as much power. If we can find a track with an even amount of high speed and bends, I'm down to race.
Waco Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I drove a 2010 V6...it was a total PIG. I hated it. Even at $8k under NADA...I didn't buy it. It made nice noises when I stomped on it but when I'm bored between shifts? Yeah, not gonna buy it.
