Queenz Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Wall Mounted (Ran into some trouble running wires though the wall) and yes I have a obsession for old ships and lighthouses so what SNES and NES and all my other games Xbox360, PS3, and Wii My VIZIO 22" 1620x1080 LCD HDTV..... I went with a small TV cause I have bad eyes, and gaming on a big screen stresses my eyes like hell. BTW I love the way the VIZIO logo lights up white when it's on and when it's off it lights up orange, and has 3x HDMI ports (alot of HDMI ports for a 22") All together now lol (I will be changing the stand to a all black glass stand) TV and stuff Now I sent in my Pioneer Elite for repair so I don't got it at the moment no more until 3-4 weeks..... Queenz Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 isn't that quite high up? yeah but it could be lowered. My mount cant adjust to a different height. I had a hell of a time running the wires through the wall cause the wall has beams (not studs) going horizontal inside.

jammin Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I went with a small TV cause I have bad eyes, and gaming on a big screen stresses my eyes like hell. I may be being absolutely stupid, but isn't it usually harder to see a small screen? Do you have a nice comfy chair to sit in? I think it's an important factor when having a good long gaming session. I think it's an important factor when having a good long gaming session. Actually when I use to game on a 37" LCD I felt dizzy and my eyes would water and turn blurry. When I switched to the 22" I felt less strain on my eyesight. Actually in the books to video games they say you should always try your best to play in a well lit room on the smallest TV in your house if you have eye sight problems. When I sit down at the TV I play on the Futon thing. It's okay but I don't got enough room in here for another piece of furniture

Andrewr05 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 (edited) Maybe he likes "elctronicsstorevideogamesyndrome"? I'm entirely sure that electronics stores purposely place the controllers in a manner in which you must stand directly below the monitor making it extremely painful to the neck which meant you couldn't play longer than 5 minutes thus allowing everyone a chance to play and no one hogs the game. I always played for like 20 minutes though and had to walk around the store bent over after so I could actually see where I was going...
