Perscitus Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Circumstances make it such that I can't spend money on a new video card and certainly not a new PC... So my best option to hold me over is to put a better cooler on my video card and maybe overclock it a little bit. The card model is: EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB(@ stock currently). I've been having a bit of trouble trying to find a good cooler for this card. I'm looking for some suggestions on which coolers I should consider buying for this card to get the temps down as much as possible. I'd prefer not to pay too much, but if I have to spend a little something to get a good quality cooler, I'll do it as long as the value is there. psycho_terror Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) I'll do it as long as the value is there. unfortunately the value probably won't be there no matter what you buy. a little while ago i invested in an arctic cooling accelero extreme for my 8800GTS 640, and while it performs extremely well, i couldn't get my overclock any higher than i could before. before i got it, the only times i had to clock it down were the hottest days in summer. it cost me around Edited November 11, 2008 by psycho_terror
