Hey Guys

I currently have a 700 watt psu, just wondering if it is enough for 2 4850's or even 3. note it only has 2 6 pin aux power connectors but i do have converters that came with it.

my psu specs are:

AC INPUT 200V-240V 50Hz 4A

DC OUTPUT

3.3V = 28A(Orange)

+5V = 30A(Red)

+12V1 = 20A(Yellow)

+12V2 = 20A(Yellow)

+12V3 = 20A(Yellow)

+12V4 = 20A(Yellow)

-12V = 0.3A(Blue)

+5VSB = 2.5A(Purple)

PG = (Grey)

Cheers

I don't see why it wouldn't be enough unless you're crazy and have a dual CPU motherboard with 8 sticks of RAM, 2 4850s, a sound card, and like 12 hard drives. 700W is a lot more than the average person realizes. I bet your system tops around 500 - 550W.

As long as it's a decent brand you'll be fine. My rig is powered by a 610 watt PSU (which never spins up under load) if it helps you realize how little power computers really draw.

I'd bet it's closer to 300.
