For the fan hole I'm going to get some u-channel and this Kikboxes 120mm Laser Cut "Celtic Circle" Grill - Black I was also going to paint something like red or black don't know the design yet. I'd recommend picking up a cheap file...and cleaning it up a bit before you paint. Woww...that is one expensive fan grill. I happen to like the classic wire ones... So let me get this straight, you basically tore the hell out of the back end of the case to slightly improve the airflow of one fan?.......... hardnrg Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 the System Builds forum is for devising a list of components for a prospective build... *this* is the Modding forum (topic moved) I'm going to play the "guess the tool" game like Crazy Nate... is it, a pair of sniped-nose pliers? that's how I did my first fan grill... 3 or 4 cases later and I've just about got it... if you can file the hole out and neaten up the edges, you can get U-channel edging over it, or just forget about edging and use a wire grill on it's own... I like this game. but it's not pliers. It was a dremmel. Look at the little metal shavings thrown everywhere which if I'm right could be worse because it could have thrown little bits of metal into the case onto the parts causing problems later (if he didn't take all the parts out first).
