Which One Should I Get?

ive been looking at getting a new sound card and want to get something really good.

 

ive found 2 sound cards, both from creative, both are xifi xtreme gamer cards.

is the more expensive one worth the extra forty or so dollars or would i be better off just getting the cheaper one?

It was either the Xtremegamer or xtrememusic card that wasnt a true X-fi, so if thats the case I would go with the more expensive one. Do you have a nice set of speakers or headphones? You might not notice a difference if you dont.

 

This is more expensive, but Ive got one and I freaking love it.

well i have a set of 2.1 speakers, there ok but i do plan on upgrading to either 5.1 or 7.1 in the near future.

 

Is that auzentech better?

If you don't want to spend that much on the Prelude...the XPlosions are very good as well. I like Auzentech's drivers way more than Creative's...

The auzentech prelude is built off of the xfi but with better components. I dont know the technical side of it, but it does sound better than my vanilla xfi xtrememusic.
