What Do U Prefer Dsl Or Cable?

depends on the situation. ADSL isn't as good as cable in most situations. But if you are able to get a good SDSL line you can have some nice upload speeds compared to cable and that would be better for hosting servers for games or if you play hardcore multiplayer games.

i have used 56k, dsl, and cable.......(and a t1 at school but has so many pc's on it it was like 56k) my dad says he will never go back to anything else. i agree with him because most of my friends have either dsl or 56k and the ones with dsl all get higher pings than me in games and it takes them longer to dl files of the same size....i like cable much better.

 

sry for the other screen...my other monitor. how do you get it to only take a screenshot of only one monitor?

 

wow its crappy, the dl speed for me was a little over 2500Kpbs and upload was 358Kbps.

well i have cable since a week , bu after the second modem (first 2 days old modem was dead) , and uninstalling norton internet sec i was 3/4th faster then the dss

 

i surf at 800-1000kb/s - dsl was 100-200kb/s

 

and my current record is 1.6mb/s :D

mine buged once gave me 200k down but like 40000 upload lol.

i run really at 3000/256 when that happened comcast riped me at 1500/128

I have to agree.... I have a cable connection and at peak hours my server starts lagging because others on my network (Im assuming) are stealing my bandwith...
