Paranoid Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I'm getting a Zalman Heatpipe VGA cooler for Christmas with the optional fan. Can't wait to install it and see how far I can overclock it. Currently getting 466/666, which isn't bad for stock cooling . I am also getting the Thermaltake ducting mod in the mail sometime this week. $20.00 Canadian with shipping . Hope that cuts my CPU temp even further. Currently getting 46C while running Folding and SETI.

kobalt Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 (edited) Tt duct really helps a lot, they spread the air pressure all over the HS surface, what CANT be done with a fan screwed to the hs cause of the hub. more cooled surface=less heat. Specially when that "no air flow" area is right above the core <_< But the $20 price is a bit high tho (the price in the link below is in CDN currency) http://www.lux-design.com/onlinestore/c83602p16273765.2.html EDIT: that duct is $5 Edited December 17, 2003 by kobalt
Paranoid Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 That $20 is in Canadian dollars, with shipping included.
