Clocks Are Not The Same In Cpuz

Recommended Posts

I am trying to submit my stock score for forum warz but CPUz shows 1.6Ghz yet the stock on an E7200 is 2.5Ghz any ideas what is wrong? I have cleared the CMOS and disabled C1E and speedstep but still shows as 1.6Ghz also the vcore is wrong too, it shows 1.044V while the default is 1.088V

Does the clock speed CPU-Z reports fluctuate or does it hold 1.6 constant? If it's the latter than a bios update might be in order. You also made sure to check that the changes you made got applied, right? It's always a possibility, albeit a remote one for a board that "new", that your boards battery died...

do you run windows vista? if so check the power options its always set to energy saver which slows the clock down same thing happened to me when i first installed vista on my x2 athlon switched it to high performance and was all set
