damian Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) Sure it's pointless, but it's fun! so true well i joined on April of 2008, not to long ago but im sure its safe to say i could be on top of the boards maybe top 10 most active, probably be beat by andrew or someone close. Though there have been times i wasn't active for a while (2 weeks maybe, thats a lot for me). But we all have those moments Edited August 19, 2008 by damian
IIxNullxII Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Noob. The whole lot of you. I joined up July 19th, 2002. Yes, I've wasted 6 years on and off here. To overclock a PII 400. I suckered like 550-ish outta that guy. Then came the PIII 733MHz, OC'd over 1GHz, then a AMD 1600+ AMD Athlon XP that wouldn't boot at less then 2GHz... The only "active" memeber with an older join date I think is Bosco. Nostalga thread: I remember when you could use a pencil to unlock an AMD chip. And we were on The Screen Savers on national TV because of it. And how we used to get /.'d a lot. BEFORE Digg. I remember not really knowing what I was doing and trying to OC my Duron with the pencil trick. Joined back in November of 04 all because of SpreadFirefox.org. Site was mentioned on what used to be the screensavers (competing with you on SpreadFirefox) on G4TV so I figured I'd see what overclocking is all about. My first ever post asked how to overclock a pentium I 200mhz. In the end I bought a K6-2 333 and oced that to 450mhz..... and not much later got a P4 and a few years after that what I have now. I watched The Screen Savers when it was TechTV, & ZDTV before that =). I hate G4TV, it screwed up what I think many will agree were some of the greatest TV shows ever created. Kamikaze_Badger Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Late June of '04, when I was a whining little tartlet who needed to be smacked upside the head a few times. I remember my first post was about enabling RAID on an MSI K7N2G, only to have Bigred spoil my hopes. Then it was about 50 threads bitching about my family, and the rest is all spam. DevilMB3017 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 April 2002 man time has flown by You've only been here 3 months more then me Bosco? Really? He's the one that helped me OC my PII though. SoftCPU because BIOS was locked down crazy tight. Who would have guessed that 6 years later I'd be Systems Support Administrator for an enterprise level company...OCC had a lot to do with that, for sure. I joined in my first year of 6th Form, during in a lesson on relational databases Under a different name, no less...
