mistabonz Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Can anyone give me some insight as to why when I reach a certain point in overclocking my processor the first 3 cores will run at one temp and the 4th core seems to be limited to about 41c and never going over that temp. Celcius Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Have you checked to make sure that the hsf is seated properly?
mistabonz Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Have you checked to make sure that the hsf is seated properly? I think the hsf is seated properly! And I think I might have answered my own question celcius. I actually think it was occt temps were wrong. I checked the temps in the amd overdireve utility and it reads all core temps are the same. And by the way how might I check to make sure the hsf is seated properly just to error on the side of caution?

MasterRy88 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Had similar prob with my 9850, 3 cores got WAY to hot and one wasnt really moving. Download RealTemp and check your sensors
