hmmm, guess you could place the ESD protection bag underneath it.

was just thinking that might be a risk if your putting in your ram on the mobo's cardboard box.

NO..!!!!

 

the ESD bag puts the static from the inside to the outside...putting anything On the bag is a very bad idea....varnish or any clear and carry static...place teh board on the supplied FOAM pad and place that on the box the board came in...

If i remember correctly. It takes 10,000v of ESD for us to feel it, 18,000 to see it and 3,000 to destroy a computer component. Now those figures may not be 100% accurate but they're close.

This guide nearly single-hahdedly made me join this community.. I hope to make use of it soon in building my own first rig
