Branjo Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 The ones NMIndex or NMIndexing I believe is NERO you can disable those in your services with no adverse effects, I have those and both are disabled too. The svchost.exe is made up of a lot of other services. If you do a google for XP services then many people have done a list explaining what each of the services mean and which ones are basically pointless to enable or even have on your PC. In BIOS---Integrated Peripherals--SATA Port0-1 Native Mode- I have to options Enable or Disable. Enabled-SATA Port0-1 Work at Native IDE Mode Disabled- SATA Port0-1 Work at Legacy Mode It used to be disabled, i enabled it, and now Vista installs fine now would u tell me what i did? i dont know whats native or legacy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
