Epox EP-AF570+ULTRA Anyone have experience with this board?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for an inexpensive board to pair with an X2 5000 or 5600. That $84 sale @ the egg on the Black 5000 got my attention but I missed it. Still... it's only $95 now with free shipping.

Anyway Epox has this board (EP-AF570+ULTRA) on sale for only $60 and I was wondering if anyone could let me know if it has any quirks that I should avoid and if it overclocks well.

Doc....?

Dude....

I LOVE THIS BOARD.....it's a monster and comes with every bell and whistle you can think of...

I have a regular 5000 Brisbane in mine and it hit 3.1ghz pretty damn easy...

it has alot of overclocking options to boot...and higher would be easy with ram tweaking....

I pretty much just booted the board at 3Gs and primed it...it's fast board and I am happy with it....my Tforce 550 is a little faster at the same CPU speeds but thats do to bus speed itself...

I run the 550 at 286mhz and the AF570 at 235mhz but other than that I love the board..I would definitely buy another one over any other board I have...

I really didnt know any more were available...???

OK thanks a lot - sure appreciate the advice. I ordered the board from Epox and I should have it next week. It's my first attempt with DDR2 -yeah, I know, I'm behind but I'm in the sweet spot for price.
