Hmmm.

Well i see jelly has stepped up, good on ya ^_^

So he is going to do an upgrade process for a video card. Hopefully in about 3-4 weeks, once i get a hold of a bit of spare funds, i want to make a platform switch. I am gonna retire my ultra-d, 2x1gb hz's and my opty and replace it with some form of core2 just so i can learn about the other side of the spectrum. For the whole shabang, it shouldnt run me too much, maybe $120 for the board, $60 ram, $50 cooler, and i was planning on an e8400, but thats gonna prolong my upgrade too much, so i might to the way of the Reel and pick up one of those 21*0's for $80. I kinda wanted to hold out for a new 45nm quad anyways.

I dont have a video cam but i can take the digital SLR + tripod from work and do a writeup.

EDIT: I think this would be a fun machine to play with. Might be interesting to compare this setup with my current seeing as they both have the same stock speed. Here is my list:

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L ATX LGA775 P35 1333FSB 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN Motherboard - $101.56

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 Dual Core Processor LGA775 1.8GHZ 800FSB 1MB Retail - $80.50

Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro LGA775 2500RPM 45CFM - $26.01

RAM: Mushkin HP PC2-6400 HP2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-5-4-11 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit - $59.99

Total = ~$300.00 after taxes. Not bad for a complete platform change i must say.
