DFI LanParty nF4 - driver?

Hi.

I'm going to perform a format of my system tonight, and have a query about drivers.

I have a DFI LanParty UT nF4 SLI-DR motherboard, and I noticed that on the DFI homepage, the latest nF4 driver they have is v. 6.66, from 23rd of November 2005. Seeing as they are very old, I had a look at nVidia's homepage, and found that they have v. 6.86 of the nF4 drivers available there.

My question is - which driver should I go with? Are the nVidia drivers better, because they are newer - or are the DFI drivers better (I'm thinkinig that maybe they are somehow optimized for the DFI motherboard)?

Can someone give any advice?

Thanks!

There is no optimization for the brand of motherboard. Only the chipset, in your case the Nforce 4.

What OS will you be using. If its Vista then I would use the most recent drivers, if its any other OS I don't think it would have much if any impact on performance, being such an old chipset the drivers are quite mature at this point.
