ArchVile Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 okay heres my question. i have the sapphire radeon 2900 pro 512 bit card which, suprise suprise, isnt being made anymore. my question is if i bought the 256 bit version would i be able to crossfire them? Guest MadDias Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 there is no way to flash a 256bit card with the same bios as a 512bit card. they will work in cf without any problems. for cf u just need a 2900series card. some guys even crossfired a 2900xt with a pro when they first came out. but i think ati disabled that with their new drivers. crossfire is not like sli where u need two identical cards.
