I posted this question video card section. And I thought I ask it here too.

Does anyone have the new 8800GTS (G92) vid card install on your Ultra-D motherboard?

I have one but it isn't in my ultra d. If I get some extra time I will try and test it out for you.

Hey, oc newbie
Which card do you have?
Yes please check out... I have been looking at the measurements. They (eVGA) say the new card (8800 GTS) is 4.376 high by 9 inches long. But how thick??
1 inch on the end of card and 1.5 at the double slot end??

Both the 8800GTS 320MB and 8800GTS 512MB cards fit on the Ultra-D.

They do obscure the top 2 SATA ports though - you can use a 90 degree SATA cable to use them if you need them, otherwise use the lower 2 SATA ports.

Thanks, that what I was wondering. I'm not using the top two anyway.

Actually, you only need a right-angle cable for the top left sata port, I managed to squeeze a regular cable into the top right port with an 8800 GTS 512MB.

I used right-angle cables for the 2 left sata ports, as they're the hardest ones to reach.

Well I have one on the way. We will see how much fun it will be making clearance for the SATA plugs. I also have two right angle cables coming, just in case.

The clearance for the SATA connectors on my motherboard are the only complaint I have about my 8800GTS. I have 3 sata drives and only 4 sata ports so I cant use just the bottom two. I was able to squeeze the card in using standard SATA connectors and the top ports.
