atcdav Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I have Smart Speed installed from DFI but not dure if it is accurate. I read about sound98 and MBM5 but it seems there are issues/caveats for DFI I see Sandrasoft shows a snapshot temp/volt how accurate is it? radodrill Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Everest Ultimate is supposed to be quite good; other popular ones are Speedfan, CoreTemp, and MBM5
boywander Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 The MBM guide on here isn't hard to follow and the screensaver is great. I like Core Temp and the old free version of Everest as well, avoid using SmartGuardian as it keeps adding itself to startup processes whether I tell it to or not. Others: NextSensor PC Wizard Powerstrip (GPU) Rivatuner (GPU) Samurize SiSoft Sandra SIW SIV SpeedFan Intel Tat ATITool (GPU) Winstat Winbar
wevsspot Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I'm partial to CoreTemp, MBM5 and Everest. Although, if you install Everest Ultimate it pretty much negates the need for anything else. I'm a huge Everest fan (used the free one for what seemed forever) and bit the bullet once and purchased the Ultimate Edition. It rocks my socks. And excellent customer support to boot. Nightwish68 Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I use MBM5, everest. If you read the MBM5 guide on the forum you it isn't that difficult to install and use. Rivaturer for overclocking my videocard.
