radodrill Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Classic symptom of a Power supply issue; either it's cooked or the system is overloading it.
Guest RandallTank Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 well i will assume its DOA, how could i check if its just being overloaded, i unplugged a few things and it still wont power on. i currently have 1 dvd and 1 HD and only the rear case fan and CPU fan plug into the mobo/PSU. Branjo Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Take the motherboard out of the case and set it all up on a towel, maybe the case is shorting something out on back of the motherboard. Did you at any time stress the board putting it together, like putting in the CPU fan. the slightest bend can sever tracks.
